Flickr refuses proper attribution on their own blog, removes pic from post!

I got an e-mail from Dave B (he goes by eecue) about issues that he is having with Flickr.
This is a short summary of what happened from the Digg page.
Flickr used Dave Bullock’s pic on their blog. When he nicely asked them to give proper attribution by using his real name and not his user name in the post, Heather refused and then removed the pic from the post. The photo was under the CC BY-NC-SA license.
You can read his story on his blog. He is asking people to digg the story so he can get exposure on this issue, with hopes of having flickr change their policy about photo credit on their blog. If you would like to help with the exposure, feel free to blog about it or click on digg it here: http://tinyurl.com/23oh2h
Over the years ive noticed Dave come up with some really wicked photos…it would be a shame if such a big company seems to like to play jesus….i tell ya…if this happened to me i wouldnt think twice about going to a competitor like dphoto.com ?
Chech his work on Flickr!
