Age of “selfless behavior” aka Aquarius…

The Age of Aquarius
Antiwar campaign from the 60′s

It takes about 2,160 years for the earth to go through each sign. So as we enter Aquarius, we leave the Piscean Age, which began with the birth of Christ. The sign of Pisces is two fish. And these two fishes represent duality and the struggle of the opposites.

During the Piscean Age, greed and power mongering permeates our existence and instead of looking within, many look outside for satisfaction, pleasure, growth and enlightenment. Many have blindly obeyed laws and so-called authority. We’ve seemed to forget that we’re souls having a physical experience.

The lower energies of the Piscean Age (greed, ego, ignorance, curiosity, jealousy etc.) are putting up a fight against the higher energies (peace, unity, love, truth, knowledge and selfless behavior etc.) of the Aquarian Age.

This millennium came in with great expectation. Many people thought it was a new age that would usher in the age of Aquarius, the water bearer and the bearer of spirituality. As a result of this transformation the foundational western belief, dualism, would be shaken and give way to a more holistic approach to living. Spirituality would be available to everyone experientially and we would all be enlightened. Perhaps this will happen, but when we take a look around the world right now it’s obvious that it really hasn’t happened yet.

With all of this said, what will the underlying affect be on man…that i wonder…as there are enough non-traditional things going on in the world today, which is fine, as long as its not in peoples face. Im no preacher, or into religion by any means, but i have to admit that i prefer the “oldschool” ways to the new “hybrid” or “newschool” taktix which most younger people of today seemed to be embracing, in some way or another….even if its not conscious.

Just a thought…and should be taken with a pinch of salt as im not quite sure how much of the above is fact, other than an opinion…

yeah mang…its quite an interesting theory, or myth, but who knows what parts of it are true to what extent ? I mean how can one quantify the birth of Christ ?
