Not fresh news, but still noteworthy as this tune is killing it in Europe right now! Wiley’s lyrics to a slammin beat with an old sample from DSK, which i guess Atlantic Records just picked up awhile back.

Its a bit different and in my opinion alot more commercial than what Wiley’s normally released in the past…should be interesting to see how the various scenes welcome it.

I’m super stoked in my new camera i just got! The Nikon D40!

Its a major upgrade from my old fuji beast, and i am rapidly learning how to use it. It seems to take brilliant pictures! Thank you Boris & Georgie for the help and inspiration into the world of media…well, to be more precise, photography.

This weekend should be madness!

Unfortunately through a miscommunication on my part ive missed the Dj Yoda shoot for Fabric, but lets hope some rescheduling magic takes place as id love to shoot him

Sunday im heading to Birmingham to interview and photograph Ursula Rucker, one of todays foremost young poets whos musical bio stretches from spoken word, live shows to cd compilations with the likes of Thievery Corporation, Tosca and the German duo Kruder & Dorfmeister. I have been along time fan of all these musical efforts she has been involved with and it is great to finally meet her! Thank you to Katrine from Electric Chair for the assistance and friendliness in helping me arrange this linkup!

Expect some interesting stuff coming up from the BoxedLab / PixelFactor camp for the rest of 08! Also keep your eye on a new site which ill be contributing towards called Media Contender, out of the west coast – USA.

Theres alot in the pipeline, and if any of you labels, clubs or media houses need some reviewing please dont hesitate to send in a submission along with a press pack and sample of music / media to be reviewed. Please contact me if interested!

With only four studios worldwide – in London, Paris, New York and Osaka – these studios are set to offer a rare experience, where we, the customer, get to design our own exclusive trainers in whatever colours and fabrics we like.

In front of you are five styles of trainers that Nike consider to be London icons:

1. Dunk High, from 1985, inspired by Michael Jordan
2. Dunk Low, inspired by Japanese street culture
3. Airmax 90, the second Airmax trainer
4. Airmax Classic, from the first Airmax boom in 1991
5. Airforce 25, a legacy shoe celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Any customer can get Dunk High, Dunk Low and Airmax 90, but the Airmax Classic and Airforce 25s are exclusive to upstairs, as are various colour, fabric and detail choices. I went for Dunk Highs. Design your own on the website.
