Should have come to BoxedLab studios for a sick 3d animation…ohwell…
EDIT: Sorry for being harsh…

Chimichanga of the year!!
11 out of 10 !!!
This post is dedicated to the lone Cosgrove crew (Dom & Fabz)! They invited me over for my first Mexican experience last Sunday. Another friend Craig was also there and we totally feasted on Dom’s wonderful creation!
It was amazingly authentic and the taste reminded me of the Mexican goodness ive been away from for so long. With two variations of meat filling we each had one spicy beef and one spicy chicken selection each with tomatoes, cilantro, onions inside….garnished with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, hot salsa and of course a Corona!
You may be wondering why im even posting about this, but one would understand the need for good Mexican food in Europe after being away from burrito heaven (Southern California) for about 5 years now.
Some pictures of the extravaganza below:

6 commentsMarijuana vending machines in US
![]()
Check this crazy post i found on the BBC site today:
The machines can only be used by people who have been prescribed the drug for health reasons.
Patients will have to provide a prescription, and be fingerprinted and photographed before being allowed to use the facilities.
Eleven US states allow the medicinal use of marijuana, primarily for pain relief, but it remains controversial.
Vince Mehdizadeh, owner of the Herbal Nutrition Centre in Los Angeles, where one of the two first machines is based, said it would allow patients to buy extra supplies whenever needed.
Series of checks
Once the users have been photographed, fingerprinted and have shown their prescription, they will be issued with a card which can be used in the machines, he told KWTX News 10 in the US.
“They’ll be greeted by a security guard right there. They’ll slide the card in and they’ll fingerprint in to verify that it’s them,” he was quoted by KWTX News 10 as saying.
“A camera takes a picture of them, verifying that they’re actually at the machine. And they get the medicine and they move on.”
The operators think that vending machines issuing prescription drugs could become a common sight in the US.
Proponents say marijauna is a valuable tool for relieving pain and stimulating appetite in the sick.
However, it remains banned by the 1970 Controlled Substances Act and the US federal government does not currently recognise any legitimate medical use.

2 commentsWin a Google Fridge ?
If i won the google fridge i would keep it in the office….most likely cooling my taco bell and other various hot sauces, as they are a big commodity for me here in the UK…with the lack of mexican food and all.
Most of all i find this competition a great way to gain linkbacks for Dan Perry, which are always good!

2 commentsPixelFactor @ The Sixty One…
Jeej, a fellow blogger gave me a tip on a new web 2.0 site called The Sixty One….a music adventure!
What a great site! Really feeling it as i think its a great way for artists to get some exposure for their music aswell as some critique from both fellow artists aswell as fans by the “bumping” system which they use on the site!

Are you a Hipster ?
Hipster kids…i found this post written up on some randoms myspace account & thought it was hella funny!

No comments11 Clues You Are a Hipster
1. You graduated from a liberal arts school whose football team hasn’t won a game since the Reagan administration.
2. You frequently use the term ‘postmodern’ (or its commonly used variation ‘PoMo’) as an adjective, noun, and verb.
3. You carry a shoulder-strap messenger bag and have at one time or another worn a pair of horn-rimmed or Elvis Costello-tyle glasses.
4. You have refined taste and consider yourself exceptionally cultured, but have one pop vice (ElimiDATE, Quiet Riot, and Entertainment Weekly are popular ones) that helps to define you as well-rounded.
5.You have kissed someone of the same gender and often bring this up in casual conversation.
6. You spend much of your leisure time in bars and restaurants with monosyllabic names like Plant, Bound, and Shine.
7. You bought your dishes and a checkered tablecloth at a thrift shop to be kitschy, and often throw vegetarian dinner parties.
8. You have one Republican friend whom you always describe as being your ‘one Republican friend.’
9. You enjoy complaining about gentrification even though you are responsible for it yourself.
10. Your hair looks best unwashed and you position your head on your pillow at night in a way that will really maximize your cowlicks.
11. Your own records put out by Matador, DFA, Definitive Jux, Dischord, Warp, Thrill Jockey, Smells Like Records, and Drag City.”
Interesting, right? And you thought you were being original… Guess we’re all looking for a group to belong to belong to.
Since liberal thought, intellectualism, and a deep knowledge of independent music and film as well as popular culture, are all defining aspects of being a hipster, the fact that hipsters are seen to espouse such working class aspects of culture appears either ironic or disingenuous. The common perception of a hipster who receives minimum wage working as a barista, copy shop employee, music store employee, “hip” restaurant worker, or other job which provides low pay (yet lives in a gentrified “hip” part of town) does exist, but if said hipster indeed has a college education and a likely upper-class or middle-class upbringing, there arises a paradox of identity. From this conflict of class background vs. perceived current economic class, a stereotype exists of a hipster who receives rent and other financial assistance from their upper-class parents, sometimes referred to as a “trust fund hipster.”
